Thanks for this. Although only a few of the things are things I’d actually do, it inspired me to make my own personal list for myself. In the Spring I would like to do spring cleaning, just looking for that motivation LOL….and I LOVE THAT EXTRA DAYLIGHT TIME!!!!!

First I was unable to post a photo when I posted my add: so I really felt at a disadvantage. But I persevered.
1975 Toyota Land Cruiser, my late husband climbed the mountains of California in this truck panning for GOLD. This model is the one with the rounded windows and they are both fully intact and original. This is a Mans TRUCK made of iron. Not much plastic on this puppy! I’d love to see my beloveds pride & joy find a second new life. I Hate to see it rusting away in the garage. WARNING to anyone who may be interested. This truck has sat up for no less than 5 years. Please understand It will take some money & devotion to make this truck road worthy, But please Don’t be fooled I’m not going to just give it away. This is the add I put up on Shreveport Bookoo.com on 5-12-12. On the next business day I got my first inquiry.
Sent the buyer the Photo’s & BAM! He came to look at it & He was ready to buy but his offer was $xxxx. But first he wanted to find a place to store it. (now I’ll have to call him & tell him it’s gone.) anyway
“Ok…I said take your time”.. (moral to that story strike while the iron is hot)
On The 21st I got an inquiry from some girl looking for transportation for her finance’, sent her pictures but she did not reply.
But on Wed the 24th My 1st guy called back to see if I had found the keys… Told him no but I was still looking.
Sayurday 5-27-12,I get TWO inquires on the truck…one man age (48) & a young man I’d say late 20′s early 30′s I think he was a AFB guy, so anyway I told both I was asking 1750. The first man wants it sight unseen. The 2nd man wants to come see it.
The first man who wants it But won’t come to get it til Monday because he won’t miss church. (hummHe wants it sight unseen. he dosen’t want to part it out. He wants to restore it. Love it care for it.) (ok Albert I got the message) so I called man “a” Sunday morning and told him of the second man and, he says “he dosen’t want to loose the Truck or get into a bidding war and he will give me $xxxx bottom dollar”.I told him I really wanted to give it to Wounded Warriors & let them fix it up & auction it off. But that i had to do what was in my best interest at this time. Nor Did I wish to waste anybody’s time. I told him fine. If $xxxx. is what he is willing to pay me for the 1975 LandCruiser then He just bought it! I will call the 2nd guy and tell him the truck is SOLD. I got a good & fair price for it (and if the sale falls through I had his email & phone number & I’d keep him posted.) he said congratulation & please do. And now My buyer from Alexandria La brought his trailer and took the Toyota Away. That is how my sale happened on Bookoo.com! WoW!
